Epworth Geelong, located in Waurn Ponds, has exciting opportunities to join our dynamic Perioperative Team as a Theatre Technician. Opportunities are available for full-time and casual positions for motivated, experienced, or novice Theatre Technicians.

You will make an impact by:
* Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparation
* Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
* Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
* Having an inclusive mindset to thrive in a multi-cultural environment
To be successful in this role…
You want to join a dynamic team who are committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience with a focus on safety-first. You are a good communicator with a natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients. Professional in your work, you have a strong attention to detail and are quick to learn and adapt.
You will have:
* A Certificate III in health services assistance operating theatre tech equivalent or willingness to complete
* Be flexible, with good communication skills and a willingness to learn
* An understanding of medical terminology and be able to fulfil the technical requirements of the role
* Have best practice in delivering patient centred care
* Have well-developed understanding of relevant safe work practices

The annual salary range for Theatre Technicians – AUD $57,744 - $69,799 + super + entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for part-time).
