Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies to minimise downtime.
* Lead a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance and support.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all activities.
* Monitor and manage maintenance budgets effectively to achieve cost efficiency.
* Analyse equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 10 years experience in maintenance related to heavy industry, associated workshops, planning and equipment
* Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
* Demonstrated ability to manage significant technician & trades workforce
* Proven experience in maintenance management
* Extensive knowledge of heavy plant equipment scheduled and unscheduled maintenance management plans and techniques
* Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
* Analytical skills to assess and improve equipment performance.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
* A results-driven approach with a focus on operational excellence.
* Must have Permanent Residency in Australia and Working Rights for Australia.
