Your Role: Simulator Technician & Trainer
Be the driving force behind M1A2 Immersive Tactical Trainer (ITT) As a Simulator Technician, you'll ensure flawless administrative, maintenance, and training support for ITT's, following contract specifications. This is a permanent full-time role located in Townsville, North Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the ITT is prepared for training daily during normal training Tempo
* Provide on-site after-hours support for M1A2 gunnery training upon approval.
* Offer off-site on-call assistance during non-operational hours.
* Support ITT when deployed Off-Site.
* Perform corrective and preventative maintenance for ITTs.
* Deliver comprehensive training courses for operators, instructors, as required
* Customize training scenarios as requested.
* Liaise with customers for upgrades and improvements.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
* Must hold current and active NV1 Defence Clearance
* Proficiency in computer maintenance and networking with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Skilled in technical writing and publications management.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Experience in training development and delivery.
* Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.
* Understanding of configuration management processes.
