The Role
As the Manager, Marketing & Communications, you'll own the marketing strategy and execution for the region, driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. You'll partner closely with regional sales and leadership teams to deliver integrated campaigns, events, and digital initiatives that support business growth.
You'll be part of the regional leadership team while remaining closely involved in day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Marketing Leadership
* Develop and implement the ANZ marketing strategy aligned with global and regional business goals.
* Act as the key marketing partner for regional sales and leadership teams.
* Build brand visibility and credibility within the energy and water sectors.
* Plan and host customer and prospect engagement events to strengthen relationships.
* Support media, communications, and investor-related marketing activities.
* Ensure close alignment with global marketing, product, and sales teams for consistent messaging and execution.
Campaigns & Demand Generation
* Drive integrated multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, trade shows, etc.) to build awareness and generate leads.
* Execute targeted Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs to support key sales opportunities.
* Create high-quality content such as press releases, blog articles, and case studies tailored to the ANZ market.
* Use HubSpot and CRM tools to manage campaigns, track results, and measure ROI.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
* Monitor industry trends, regulations, and competitor activity across energy and water markets.
* Translate insights into actionable marketing strategies and thought leadership content.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
* Lead digital and performance marketing initiatives to build pipeline growth.
* Track campaign performance and continuously refine strategies for maximum impact.
Events & Trade Shows
* Lead the planning and execution of major events, conferences, and webinars.
* Manage agency partners, logistics, and post-event engagement.
* Ensure brand presence at events reflects innovation and leadership.
What You'll Bring
* 6–10+ years of B2B marketing experience in a tech or software environment.
* Strong experience in go-to-market planning, demand generation, and campaign execution.
* Analytical and data-driven mindset with excellent project management skills.
* Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Highly organised, creative, and hands-on approach.
* Experience in start-up or scale-up environments is a plus.
Bonus Points For:
* Experience in the utilities (energy/water) sector.
* Proficiency with HubSpot and basic design or video tools (e.g., Canva).
* Previous experience in a scaling or transformation-focused organisation.
