Mediation and Support Specialist
Our team in Oakleigh and Traralgon is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to deliver clinical social work supports to couples accessing mediation services. This role plays a vital part in our mission to provide high-quality services to those who need them most.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish contact with clients to identify their needs and assess their circumstances.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored support plans.
* Collaborate with Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners and Family Advisors to ensure client support needs are met.
* Provide short-term interventions grounded in the principles of single session therapy.
* Monitor and report any safety risks in accordance with established protocols.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A degree in Social Work or a related field.
* Demonstrated expertise in conflict management and resolution.
* A deep understanding of and commitment to working with children, youth, and families within the context of family services.
