Aboriginal Engagement Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Aboriginal Engagement Specialist to join our team in shaping the future of one of Australia's most successful ports.
This role will coordinate initiatives within our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and advance our appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories.
You'll lead relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, leveraging your passion for making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate RAP activities
* Establish RAP initiatives using change management processes
* Advise on organisational cultural learning to increase understanding and value of Aboriginal cultures, histories, knowledge, and rights
* Develop relationships with Aboriginal stakeholders and organisations for RAP initiatives
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver initiatives increasing economic participation, training, employment opportunities, and retention
