Payroll Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced payroll specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end weekly payroll processing, superannuation calculations and lodging payments, PAYG withholding, payroll tax, and WorkCover reporting.
About the Role
* Manage weekly payroll processing in Xero, including timesheets, overtime, allowances, site-specific loadings, travel, and tool allowances.
* Process superannuation calculations and lodge payments on time.
* Ensure accurate and timely PAYG withholding, payroll tax, and WorkCover reporting.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Proven payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry.
* Current hands-on knowledge of Xero payroll software.
* A strong attention to detail and understanding of Australian awards and EBAs in construction/trades.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management, site foremen, and workers.
* The ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
