Responsibilities of the Site Quality Manager:
* Collaborate with the site installation team to ensure work is completed safely, meeting quality standards, customer requirements, schedule, and budget.
* Ensure all QA/QC inspections and testing follow the Quality Plan and assist with inspections as per Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), coordinating tests with specialized service providers (e.g., NDTs).
* Perform site audits and inspections.
* Develop and implement the site quality plan in line with the contract and company policies, fostering a commitment to quality within the site team.
* Apply strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and customer regulatory requirements.
Relevant Experience:
* University education in QA/QC and certification according to quality standards.
* Qualifications in welding inspection, such as AWS/ASNT certifications, CSWIP, or similar.
* Previous experience in a senior or management-level position.
* Strong knowledge of welding processes, codes, standards, and best practices; IWE qualification preferred.
* Proven experience working with QA/QC systems aligned with ISO 9001.
* Extensive experience in Hydro Power Plant construction projects or the oil and gas sector.
