12-Month Maternity Leave Contract

We're looking for a flexible, friendly and highly organised People & Culture Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave contract.
This is a full-time hands‐on role for someone who is a true doer — proactive, professional and confident juggling priorities while keeping everything running smoothly.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you'll oversee HR administration and lifecycle processes while leading and supporting one direct report (P&C Officer). You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality P&C services across the organisation.
About the Role
This is a broad and varied position where no two days look the same. You'll:
* Oversee HR administration and reporting functions
* Manage pay reviews and checking award classifications
* Update policies and procedures
* Assist with compliance including pre‐employment checks and ongoing requirements
* Assist in generating contracts and manage staff movements
* Assist with onboarding processes and support payroll liaison
* Maintain accurate employee records and data integrity
* Support diversity and inclusion initiatives
* Answer P&C queries from Line Managers
* Provide guidance and support to your team member
You'll ensure timeliness, accuracy and compliance while continuously looking for smarter, better ways of working.
This is a remote role where you are working from home 5 days a week.

* A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with ease
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
* Comfortable influencing and supporting managers
* Experienced in HR systems and modern awards
* Adaptable, solutions‐focused and proactive
* A genuine team player with a hands‐on approach
You enjoy improving processes, strengthening compliance and creating a positive employee experience.
HR experience is essential. A tertiary qualification in HR is desirable.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
