Senior Accountant (Property) - first movers welcome
This is a newly created role in a high‐growth asset manager. The role is blended across property, fund and corporate accounting.
Base pay range
A$100,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yr
Role Overview
* Newly created role in high growth asset manager
* Blended role across property, fund and corporate accounting
* Suits first mover with property clients or experienced accountant in property
* $110-130K package + 20% STI
Our client is an established global property group with approximately $5 billion AUM and a growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
* Drive consolidated financial reporting for the group.
* Month‐end closing for corporate entities.
* Reforecast and annual budget preparation.
* Company tax compliance (income tax, GST, FBT & payroll tax).
* Allocate workload: 20% property accounting, 30% fund consolidation reporting, 20% corporate accounting/month‐end work, 30% quarterly management reporting including investor reporting.
Qualifications
* CA or CPA‐qualified accountant.
* Prior experience in the real estate space (first mover with real estate clients or corporate/property/fund accounting background from a property group/asset manager).
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills and sophisticated stakeholder engagement capability.
