* Salary range: $136,538 to $148,242 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7)

About your opportunity
The Nurse Educator is responsible for delivering targeted, skills-based training that equips staff to identify, de-escalate, and respond to risk behaviours in the workplace. This role reinforces the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS)'s strategic commitment to safety, quality care, and staff development, with a focus on managing unpredictable behaviours using least restrictive practices.
Accreditation in the designated OVP training program is required or must be attained to meet the standards for training delivery within the organisation.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position and registration with AHPRA.
* This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle. Verification of license must be provided prior to commencement of duty.
Highly desirable
Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field; such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
