Job Title: Disability Life Skills Assistant
This role enables people with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities. As a Disability Life Skills Assistant, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide tailored support to help them achieve their goals.
* Aiding daily life activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
* Supporting individuals with educational and work-related endeavours.
* Facilitating access to community, social, and recreational activities.
* Assisting transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.
The ideal candidate has experience or qualifications in disability or aged care, and can communicate effectively with clients and their families. A valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check are required for the role.
