Senior Registrar Opportunity in Medical Education and Simulation
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Registrar to join our team in the Emergency Department. The role involves coordinating medical education programs, developing skills as an educator in simulation design, managing events, and debriefing multidisciplinary in situ simulations.
About the Role

* You will be responsible for coordinating medical education programs for Residents and Registrars under consultant staff guidance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate medical education programs for Residents and Registrars under consultant staff guidance.
2. Develop as an educator in simulation design, events management, and debriefing multidisciplinary in situ simulations.
3. Run monthly immersive multidisciplinary simulations at the Curtin Sim Lab.
4. Assist with weekly education curricula to develop Medical Education and Simulation Registrar skills.
5. Prepare and facilitate medical education programs at all levels (medical students, RMO, Registrar, ACEM exam preparation, and courses).
6. Undertake professional development in medical education with a prescribed university course or alternative.
7. Undertake projects to improve education quality within the Emergency Department.
8. Report progress to a designated medical education supervisor regularly.
9. Keep a logbook of education duties undertaken.
10. Provide clinical supervision and teaching to junior staff.
11. Promote a team approach in delivering care, working closely with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and other clinicians.
