Responsibilities
- Generate new business in collaboration with Inside Sales Representatives across mid‑market to enterprise companies in all industry verticals.
- Work from locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide.
- Team closely with Marketing/Demand Generation teams to ensure leads are promptly qualified.
- Partner with Pre‑sales to deliver targeted demonstrations that resonate with prospects.
- Overachieve assigned quota through a mix of new license subscriptions and associated professional services.
Key Attributes for Success
- Manage a complex sales cycle from inception to close.
- Build and maintain a consistent, sustainable pipeline, balancing multiple opportunities at various stages.
- Practice meticulous preparation, attention to detail, accurate CRM updates, and forecast accuracy.
- Execute a proven sales process (MEDDPIC).
- Seek coaching rather than management and embrace feedback.
- Work well in a team environment and involve leadership in strategic opportunities.
- Ensure Customer Success has all the necessary information for a positive onboarding experience.
- Respond promptly to prospects; quick response is critical for winning deals.
- Listen to prospects and explain how the product solves business problems and pain points.
- Be passionate, self‑motivated, and excited about helping clients overcome challenges.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of SaaS/B2B technology sales experience, including complex executive sales and a history of exceeding quotas.
- Ability to communicate across all levels, including C‑level, and understand stakeholder interests.
- Experience with modern tech stacks (e.g., Salesforce.com); operate strategically and tactically with minimal daily direction.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to think outside the box.
- Skill in building strong territory plans and in making intelligent exit decisions on losing opportunities.
- Exposure to high‑growth, rapid‑paced startups and a quick learning curve for new products.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; demonstrable life skills.
- Ideally prior experience in integration/iPaaS/API‑Management space.
