ACCHS, provision of GP AMS surgery sessions. Aboriginal health experience is essential for this role. Basic Life Support Accident Emergency skills required. Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:36, 1hr break. Additional locations Kupungarri, Jarlmadangah and Pandanus Park, day trips, in hours with nursing support. No Nursing home, Hospital or Home visits required.
Partial filling within the timeframe advertised welcomed, preferable 3+ weeks. Ongoing vacancies throughout 2026.
Responsibilities
* Provide GP AMS surgery sessions.
* Conduct day trips to remote clinics Kupungarri, Jarlmadangah and Pandanus Park.
* Liaise with RFDS as needed.
* Participate in population health programs: flu drives, adolescent health, rheumatic heart disease clinics, child health, chronic diseases.
* Collaborate with Nursing and Aboriginal Health Workers.
Qualifications
* Aboriginal health experience essential.
* Basic Life Support (Accident Emergency) skills required.
* Proficiency in MMEX software preferred.
Benefits
Remuneration offered; $1,800.00 (+GST) per day. Hospital billings; N/A.
Practice Description
Group ACCHS GP. As an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation, the Health Service is committed to core principles including Aboriginal self-determination, access, equity, empowerment, and reconciliation. Along with 3 outlying clinics in Aboriginal communities, we drive to two of them, and fly to one of them. We do day trips only, and our remote nurses and Aboriginal health workers look after the remote clinics after hours and liaise with the RFDS if required. We also have population health programs for flu drives, adolescent health, rheumatic heart disease clinics, child health, chronic diseases. Supported by Nursing and Aboriginal Health Workers. Practice using MMEX software.
