Are you a Brisbane local with a passion for storytelling and a love for your city? Do you have an independent spirit and a knack for creating unforgettable experiences? We're looking for passionate locals to help us launch our brand-new "pay-what-you-feel" tours in Brisbane
I'm Free Tours is a successful walking tour company with a unique, tip-based model that empowers our guides to deliver the best possible experience every time. We've been sharing the magic of Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland since 2009, and now we're ready to bring our fun, informative, and authentic tours to the River City.
This is more than just a tour guide role; it's a chance to be a founding member of our Brisbane team and help build our presence from the ground up. We're looking for people who can combine their love of their city with a desire to help set up and establish new tours in a new city.
In this role, you will:
* Become the face of I'm Free Tours in Brisbane: Lead our new tours with charisma, enthusiasm, and a deep knowledge of Brisbane's history, culture, and hidden gems.
* Help develop and refine our Brisbane tours: Use your local expertise to help us craft engaging and memorable walking routes that showcase the city's unique character.
* Be a storyteller: Turn historical facts and local anecdotes into captivating narratives that entertain and educate a diverse audience of travelers from around the world.
* Represent our brand: Uphold the I'm Free Tours standard of high-quality, authentic, and independent guiding.
* Operate with autonomy: As a "pay-what-you-feel" guide, you'll be responsible for creating an experience so good that our guests can't wait to show their appreciation.
* Be paid: You'll be paid based on the Miscellaneous award casual plus the potential to earn a share of tips based on performance.

* A Brisbane expert: You're a true local with a passion and local knowledge of the city you've grown up in.
* A self-starter: You're highly motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
* A passion for people: You love meeting new people and are genuinely committed to giving them an incredible experience.
* Flexible availability: Guiding works well around other commitments, work or studies, as shifts are 10:15am-1:15pm spread across everyday of the week.
