We're seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team at Healthscope Hospitals.
About You
You'll be passionate about working with individuals with disabilities, celebrating the little things and striving to make a positive impact in their lives. As an experienced support worker, you'll be skilled in developing and implementing behavioral support plans and providing high-quality care.
Key requirements include proficiency in English reading and writing, ability to build strong rapport with clients, and experience in handling complex disability care situations.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker at Healthscope Hospitals, you'll provide person-centered care to support clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal assistance, blood pressure monitoring, and more. You'll also play a key role in managing complex behaviors and supporting clients to achieve their goals.
* Personal care inclusive of bowel stimulation and catheter flushing
* Assistance with meals
* Blood pressure monitoring
* High level of manual handling (experience required in the use of hoists and slings)
* Complex behavioural issues (knowledge of behavioural support required)
* Food preparation
* Medication administration

* Hold a valid NDIS check, CPR and First Aid Certificate
