The Co-Group are growing our team and are looking to onboard new Casual Support Workers with availability across all seven days. If you're passionate about supporting people to live empowered, independent lives, we'd love to hear from you.
In this role, you'll provide person-centred assistance that may include daily living support, personal care, community access, transportation, and helping individuals build confidence and independence. Every shift is an opportunity to create positive change.
We're seeking caring, reliable and proactive individuals who can communicate well, work both independently and as part of a team, and bring genuine empathy to every interaction.
What you'll do:
Complete all tasks relevant to support work including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance and client transport
Empower participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible
Provide direct support in a 1:1 & 2:1 capacity in accordance with the individual's care plan & PBSP
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as shift notes, progress notes, behaviour charts and incident reports
Follow company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Access to acomprehensive insured car with 5 seats
- NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
- Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
- MUST be available to work a minimum of 4 days per week on an ongoing basis within the following time frames: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 2pm-6am (sleepover), 10pm-6am awake/active shift.
