About This Role
As a Tradesperson – Carpenter, you will play a key role in maintaining essential healthcare infrastructure across Metro South Health facilities.
* Deliver planned and reactive carpentry and joinery maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe, compliant and operational
* Undertake repairs, installations and upgrades across hospital buildings and infrastructure
* Prioritise work, manage materials and costs, and deliver high‐quality outcomes with minimal supervision
* Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure works are completed efficiently with minimal disruption
About You
You are a skilled and motivated tradesperson who takes pride in delivering quality work in a fast‐paced, purpose‐driven environment. You are:
* A qualified carpenter (Cert III or equivalent) with strong experience in maintenance environments
* Able to work independently, manage priorities and solve problems effectively
* A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders
* Committed to safety, quality standards and continuous improvement in your work
