About the Role
Kanda is seeking a dedicatedAdministration Officer (Property)to join our team. This part-time role (20 hours per fortnight) is crucial for completing tasks to maintain properties and assets to a high standard, adhering to instructions. You will work to ensure appropriate records are kept, compliance standards are met, and maintenance schedules are coordinated.
This role is based inPerth, WA.
Key Responsibilities
* Property & Asset Maintenance:Complete tasks to maintain properties and assets to a high standard in a safe, efficient, and routine manner.
* Record Keeping & Compliance:Ensure appropriate records are kept and maintained to a high standard, and all relevant documentation is completed for RTA and other legislative compliance.
* Contractor Coordination:Maintain schedules, coordinate, and review regular service agreements with contractors for commercial & residential properties.
* Contractor Compliance:Ensure contractors are compliant (e.g., agreements, licences, insurance, criminal history screening checks).
* Repairs & Payments:Manage repairs and maintenance requests and authorise payments in accordance with budgeted expenditure.
* Asset Management:Ensure maintenance of keys and key register; source, order, arrange purchase, repair, or replacement of assets; and track asset movements.
About You
* A combination of relevant experience, education, and training in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years is desirable.
* Strong administration and clerical skills, with intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications.
* Exceptional attention to detail, time management, organisational, and administrative skills.
* Excellent customer service skills and a pleasant phone manner, with the ability to remain calm and empathetic when faced with difficult callers.
* Demonstrated experience in the organisation of general office functions and processes.
* Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
* Hold or willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check.
