Job Overview
In this critical role as a Human Resources Specialist, you will oversee the overall function of the HR department. As a key point of contact and support, you will provide guidance to team members across various levels on matters including Learning and Development, Recruitment, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), Worker's Compensation, Disciplinary Procedures, Immigration, and other activities directed by the HR Director.
You will be heavily involved in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations initiatives. This includes advising managers on proper policies and procedures, collaborating with the Area Director of HR Queensland on key HR matters, contributing to succession planning with senior managers during bi-annual appraisals, and ensuring absence monitoring aligns with company guidelines.
This role requires strong expertise in Industrial Relations and knowledge of Australian legislation. A minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR role is preferred.
