As a Hospitality Officer, you will:
Deliver and coordinate operational activities and high-end customer services, ensuring that guest experiences exceed expectations and compliment the venue.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including staff, corporate partners, suppliers, contractors, clients, and visitors. Liaise to support the delivery of corporate events, catering and the development of collaborative partnerships.
Respond to customer concerns and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, resolving issues where possible, and escalating where necessary to ensure a positive experience.
Support the planning and delivery of events by coordinating logistics, contributing ideas for service enhancements, and ensuring operational readiness.
To be successful, you'll have:
Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
Completion of an associate diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
Completion of a post-trades certificate or advanced certificate and extensive relevant experience as a technician; or
An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Experienced knowledge of food, produce and service cultures.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
Special Requirements
This position requires the incumbent to work outside business hours.
This position is a flexible ordinary hours span position which offers additional loadings to salary as per clause 43.3 of Deakin's Enterprise Agreement.
This position requires the incumbent to hold a current Working with Children Check.
