Job Summary
In this role, you will provide knowledge, expertise, input, training, and consultative support for a discipline or process required for facility commissioning and startup. You will participate in work planning and packaging, turnover coordination, material management and quantities, quality control, and environmental safety and health. You will be an essential resource for specialized technical advice.
Major Responsibilities
* Manage the integrated LOTO program on the project, coordinating between subcontractors and all other affected entities to deliver a safe and uniform program for the control of work and isolation of hazardous sources of energy.
* Ensure the energy isolation program complies with SWPP's, STCP's, and Q4Safety.
* Use Q4Safety for electronic Energy Isolation Permits (EIPs).
* Provide input and support to the Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams in piping, mechanical, and electrical isolations.
* Identify isolation boundaries based on work scope and develop and issue EIPs.
* Administer and manage the energy isolation program with strict enforcement and record keeping.
* Coordinate activities with other disciplines or areas and client representatives.
* Maintain and provide training on the project related to EIPs.
* Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with energy isolation.
* Problem resolution and inspection of EIPs.
* Monitor the installation of LOTO equipment such as locks and tags.
* Work hours as required, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, as necessary to support the project.
Education and Experience
* Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills
* 10 years of previous Energy Isolation and Permitting Office experience, 5 of which have been in Commissioning, Maintenance and/or Operations. Computer literate knowledge mandatory (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, SLDs, wiring, instrument loops & mechanical PFD drawings. Construction experience on a construction site.
* Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generating station construction.
* Knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes typically gained through specialized instruction or practical experience.
* Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead team members in a collaborative environment.
* Problem-solving ability under high pressure.
* Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
* Experience on an LNG construction site preferred.
* Understanding of Bechtel work processes including Standard Work Procedures preferred.
* Advanced knowledge of Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs) including Setroute, Aconex, DSCS, PTR, Navisworks, and other automation tools preferred.

Candidate must have the right to work in Australia and be willing to live at the jobsite camp.
Additional Information
This position involves exposure to construction and operational conditions, including walking on active sites, working at heights, confined spaces, variable shifts, and use of PPE. Some lifting may be required. Non-smoking site; Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility.
