We are seeking a Site Engineer to join a major water infrastructure upgrade project located within the existing water filtration plant in Prospect, Western Sydney. This is a high-value infrastructure development strengthening Sydney's primary water supply network.
This is a 6-month contract engagement on a competitive day rate, working standard site hours, with potential for extension depending on programme requirements.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the installation of large water storage tanks within a live infrastructure environment, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with programme.
Key responsibilities include:
• Overseeing quality assurance processes (ITPs, inspections, hold points)
• Coordinating subcontractors and daily site activities
• Managing installation sequencing in line with programme
• Maintaining accurate site documentation and QA records
• Supporting general contract administration and reporting
About You
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of site operations, sequencing and quality control
• Confident coordinating subcontractors in live environments
• Experience in water, utilities or heavy infrastructure advantageous
• Comfortable working within structured Tier 1 project systems
