We are a small but busy, family owned Gourmet Butcher Shop located in the Arana Hills Plaza. Looking for a butcher to add to our growing business.
Work with a set 5 day per week roster. Above award rates for the right candidate. $1440 per week plus tax and super.
Qualifications & experience
* Certificate III Meat Processing
* 1-2 years min. of butchering experience required
Tasks & responsibilities
* cut, trim and shape standard cuts of meat to size
* process carcasses into primary and secondary cuts
* pack and store products for display and sale
* assemble and operate mincers, grinders, mixers, patty-forming or sausage-forming machines, and bandsaws
* conduct product sales and collect payment
* retail meat sales experience is essential
* prepare marinated meats, value-added and ready-to-cook dishes
* advise customers about alternative cuts, cooking methods, storage requirements and nutritional aspects of meat
* cleaning of work space and shop
* deliveries with the refrigerated van for our online storE
Must have working rights in Australia. No sponsorships available.
Valid drivers License ideal, but not necessary.
