Job Description
We are seeking empathetic and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team, providing in-home support services that enable individuals with disabilities to live independently. This role involves implementing personalized care plans to maximize the living, social, and recreational skills of our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clients in various daily activities, including personal care, PEG feeding, manual handling, community engagement, and domestic duties. Our team works closely with clients, family members, and other professionals to achieve their individual goals and promote their overall well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Australian Federal Police Clearance
* CIII or CIV in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Services
* PEG feeding experience preferred, but training provided
* Administering Nebuliser experience preferred, but training provided
* Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check and workers module
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required)
* Smartphone with internet access
