The advertised position of Senior Structured Query Language (SQL) Administrator provides advanced technical expertise, operational support, and strategic advice related to enterprise Information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure, networks, and systems. The role supports planning, design, implementation, and ongoing operation of core ICT platforms across the ACT Government.
Initially, the position includes project implementation responsibilities prior to transitioning into business‐as‐usual systems management.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
* This position requires the occupant to be an Australian citizen and hold a current security clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Negative Vetting Level One (NV1).
* Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework or completion of the ITIL Foundation Certificate would be advantageous.
* Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 may be required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au)
* Driver's licence (Class C)
