About the Role
The Religious Education Coordinator is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding the spiritual and educational direction of the school. This includes leading the Religious Education curriculum, supporting staff in faith formation and teaching practise, embedding Catholic perspectives across all learning areas, and fostering a Christ-centred school culture. The role involves close collaboration with the Principal, leadership team, and parish, as well as managing liturgical events, professional learning, and Catholic social justice initiatives. It requires a practising Catholic with leadership experience, strong communication skills, and relevant accreditation.

Qualifications
* Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
* Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP)
* Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
To be a Religious Education Coordinator in a Catholic school, a teacher must:
* Be a practising Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community;
* Be a qualified Teacher with a minimum of five years' experience
* Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and
* Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation D and E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
