About The Opportunity

As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) within Leeton Aged Care unit, you'll play a key role in shaping the skills, confidence, and success of the nursing team. You'll lead the way in education and professional development, delivering engaging, evidence‐based programs that empower staff to provide the highest quality of aged care. Your leadership and mentoring will help ensure that residents receive safe, compassionate, and person‐centred support every day.

In This Role You Will

• Deliver evidence‐based, person‐centred care aligned with professional standards and legislation.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes and wellbeing.
• Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety, learning, and professional growth.
• Coordinate and manage mandatory education, provide ongoing clinical support and education to nursing staff and students, and assess nursing clinical competencies.

About You

• Relevant clinical experience of more than 2 years in aged care.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities, working alongside a dedicated team of nursing staff.
• Work effectively in a rapidly changing healthcare environment, adapt to evolving models of care and evidence‐based practice, and support the development of early‐career nurses and current workforce.

This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases. The full list of requirements are outlined in the NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 11). You will be required to complete the OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool during the recruitment process.
