OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Dampier Bulk Handling Facility (DBHF) project for a FIFO position to Karratha.
This will be working both day and night shifts; one swing will be day shift, next will be night shift.
The project involves the construction of a wharf to support the export of urea in bulk quantities through the Port of Dampier, including the demolition and removal of decommissioned marine structures, construction of a new land-backed wharf and land redevelopment.
The position is on a 20:8 rotation to site in Karratha.We require an experienced Project Engineer with a background in Civil or Wharf engineering who can manage Sub-Contractors.ResponsibilitiesDelivery of technically acceptable engineering design and construction services for approved workWork with technical specialists to ensure specification compliance and technical integrity of designPrepare, check and file design information including documents and data from suppliers and other disciplinesContribute to the development, implementation and improvement of systems across the divisionManage customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technical program outcomesLiaise regularly with manager to report progress, areas of concern / issues and potential changesBe a proactive member of the team, prepared to work outside conventional boundaries in cooperation with other team members to ensure complete coverage of each work scopeManage and coordinate design and construction effort of team reports to achieve satisfactory outcomesProvide construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support to projects as requiredWhat you will bring to the teamMinimum of 5 years relevant experienceRelevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. BSc Eng)Chartered Qualified Engineer (CPEng) – preferredMembership of relevant Engineering Institutions (e.g. Engineers Australia) – preferredGood knowledge of local and international Codes and StandardsRelevant experience defined as experience with engineering contracting or consultancy organisations in Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals and Infrastructure / UtilitiesDiversity and InclusionWe're building a diverse workforce.
