About Inland RailThe Inland Rail Program is a 1600km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track. The program includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges. More information relating to the project can be found here: Inland RailAbout the opportunityAs the Stakeholder Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating and administering land access agreements with landowners, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth internal workflows.The role supports the Stakeholder Engagement team through high-level administrative assistance, stakeholder liaison, and event coordination.Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Coordinate, track, and manage Land Access Agreements (LAAs), ensuring accurate data entry and records into our systems. Liaise with landowners and internal teams to facilitate timely execution of agreements.Organise stakeholder meetings and events, including booking venues, sending calendar invites, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing action items.Provide on-the-ground support for community pop-ups, and local information sessions.Maintain up-to-date stakeholder records and Champion Consultation Manager and Monday.com by ensuring accurate reporting, data integrity, and supporting team workflows.Support procurement activities including raising purchase orders and processing invoices. Reconcile corporate credit cards in line with company procedures.Manage project enquiries received via the hotline, e-mail inbox, and online platforms. Provide support at community shopfronts and work with internal teams to ensure consistent and high-quality responses.Maintain team calendars, coordinate travel and training, and support vehicle booking processes. Assist with general office management tasks when required.About YouYou will need to be confident in your communication, be positive in your interactions, and have the right attitude to build and maintain relationships. You will need to be organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in addressing stakeholder needs.To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate:Proficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications, as well as an understanding of digital media and technologies to support communication and engagement practices.Proficient in written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience in a previous administration, project support officer, and/or government authority (local, state, or federal) role.Providing customer service to internal and external customers.The ability to manage people's diary's, calendar and arranging travel.The want to learn new IT systems and processes, as well as a willingness to undertake stakeholder engagement and property related courses (online).You can work autonomously.Confidence to use your judgement and discretion in the distribution of information.Capability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Foster relationshipsThat you enjoy finding solutions to problems and you enjoy constant change.Drivers Licence - Class CDesirable Selection CriteriaUnderstanding of, or involvement in, community engagement activities.Knowledge of rail infrastructure, transport or logistic sectors, and whole-of-government functions.Apply NowIf this opportunity sounds like the challenge you have been looking for please apply online today.As part of the application process, you will be required to undergo pre-employment criminal history, reference and medical checks, including drug and alcohol testing.
