About the role
In this role, you'll lead the planning and delivery of multiple externally led work streams associated with leading the investigation, planning and implementation of a future state-scale south central water grid augmentation.
A highly regarded leader, you understand the value of constructive partnerships, effectively leading internal relationships, and key external stakeholders. You'll lead a small team of technical professionals, providing strategic and technical advice to internal and external partners to collaborate and deliver outcomes that ensure our region's long-term water security.
Representing Barwon Water in sector discussions, your work will support our Strategy 2030 and drive innovation to make a real impact on our community's future.
Responsibilities
* Lead planning and delivery of multiple externally led work streams related to investigation, planning and implementation of a future state-scale south central water grid augmentation.
* Provide strategic and technical advice to internal and external partners to deliver outcomes that support long-term water security.
* Represent Barwon Water in sector discussions and support Strategy 2030 initiatives.
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to build constructive partnerships.
About You
With strong communications and relationship skills, you're an influencer of others, comfortable presenting to key stakeholders across the business and beyond, focusing on strategic ambitions. You can translate complex technical information to suit your audience without losing key messages.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams; adept at influencing colleagues and collaborators. You're passionate about delivering real change and benefit to the organisation and broader community.
With a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, along with experience in project management and water supply and infrastructure, you'll be eligible or a registered engineer.
