Project Coordinator

This role is part of a dynamic community where courage, creativity, and optimism are essential elements. The Project Coordinator will support the Lead Investigator in completing milestone activities of a grant entitled: Koorlangka Keniny. This music program aims to improve the health and development of Aboriginal Children and Families.


About the Role

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for semi-autonomous coordination of a grant. This includes communication and liaison with stakeholders and project participants, including external agencies and parties, Aboriginal community members to ensure compliance with legislative and institutional requirements and achievement of research project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate the implementation of the research proposal, in partnership with the Chief Investigator and Investigator team, to achieve the research aims as articulated by the research proposal.
* Participate in consultation, engagement, recruitment, data collection and translation activities which includes driving to external sites as required.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification and strong subsequent experience, or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training, or professional accreditation. Higher degree qualification desirable.


Requirements

* Tertiary qualification and strong subsequent experience OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training, or professional accreditation.
* Demonstrated research project management and organisational skills using broad range of administrative and management techniques to maximise the effectiveness of project team service delivery.
* Hold and continue to retain a current C class drivers license in order to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
