If you are a experienced Compliance Manager that is excited by the prospect of stepping into a role where you will have the opportunity to create and enhance a framework then this is an opportunity that you will need to consider.

In this role you will be involved in:

- Overseeing and managing the entities internal audit function including planning of the Internal Audit program, liaising with external advisors, facilitating fieldwork and completion of reports and monitoring of close out of audit actions by the business.
- Provide guidance and ensure compliance with Critical Infrastructure Legislation applicable to the entity including the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SOCI) and privacy law.
- Carry out other corporate reporting obligations required by Law, for example, modern slavery reporting, political donations reporting, privacy and data protection. Manage and coordinate compliance, review, and update of the entities Corporate Policies including, risk policy; delegations policy, whistleblower, privacy, political donations policy, data protection, monitor completion of Corporate Risk actions.
- Manage and monitor compliance
- ASIC and Corporations Law compliance - manage the corporate constitutions, investors agreement and trust/share registers, monitor compliance requirements of the board, directors and company reporting and manage lodgment of required statutory returns
- Manage and maintain the Key Contracts register.
- Provide guidance and establish a corporate framework for the entities Records Management system and monitor ongoing compliance with that framework.
- Preparation of board and committee materials/reports.
- Development and implementation of assurance programs and reporting.

To be considered for this role you must:

- Ideally from an industry perspective come from one of or a combination of Transport, Logistics, Property, Maritime, Construction or Infrastructure but not a prerequisite
- A proven background in developing, implementing and maintaining a compliance or risk management framework
- Experience in undertaking assurance functions within an organisation and compliance reporting.
- Experience in stakeholder and client management skills.
- Superior organisation, project management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally.
- Driver license and car
