Bundaberg Christian College (BCC) is a thriving independent school, providing Christ-centred education from Early Learning (15 months) through to Year 12.
Established for 30 years in ****, the College is experiencing strong growth and is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer – Reception & Student Services to join our dynamic team.
About the role
Supporting the senior Reception and Student Services staff, this role is the welcoming face of the College and a key part of our Administration Team.
You will provide exceptional customer service at reception, manage attendance processes, and support student services to ensure smooth daily operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values being part of a Christ-centred community.
Key responsibilities
Reception duties – Answer calls, greet visitors, handle mail and deliveries, process payments, and maintain office supplies.
Attendance management – Maintain daily attendance tasks, liaise with teachers and parents, and prepare weekly reports.
Student services support – Assist students with enquiries, provide first aid, and maintain accurate records.
General administration – Support staff and parents with queries, maintain confidentiality, and ensure professional presentation.
Selection criteria
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality
Professional presentation and time management skills
First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
Eligibility for a Working with Children Blue Card.
