Your part in the BlueCare Network
We are seeking a Community Engagement Lead to be based in Cairns. Reporting to the Network Manager in that region the role is responsible for identifying and leading the pursuit of strategically aligned new community business opportunities and driving growth strategies across the Network whilst maintaining a strong connection and network of internal and external stakeholders. This role is accountable for coordinating stakeholder communication, collaboration and engagement ensuring optimal profiling of BlueCare within the communities we serve.
The Community Engagement Lead is responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining constructive relationships with partner organisations, community groups and aligned entities, providing skilled public representation that builds BlueCare's community profile. This role facilitates constructive stakeholder engagement, resourcing local BlueCare operations with meaningful connections and processes that maintain effective established links.

Qualifications in a health community service or other relevant discipline or equivalent community sector experience
Extensive experience in aged care / health care / human services sector
Demonstrated understanding and sound knowledge of client-centred community-based care services delivery or willingness to learn quickly
Extensive experience managing and delivering corporate messaging to senior stakeholders and groups
Previous experience in stakeholder management and community engagement roles
Professional standard of verbal and written communication and experience liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders
Current Australian Driver's License
Flexibility to travel across Network - Mackay through to Cairns
