At the forefront of innovative sports betting, we are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Product Experience Analytics function. As an esteemed Analytics Manager, you will be entrusted with the pivotal role of building and leading a high-performing team dedicated to delivering actionable insights and strategic direction.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of analytics expertise and sportsbook experience, allowing them to drive collaboration across business stakeholders, product development teams, and UX/CX functions. Key responsibilities include:
* Partnering with key collaborators to provide data-driven recommendations and drive strategic decision-making.
* Leading the design, execution, and evaluation of A/B testing experiments in close coordination with UX, Data Engineering, and Frontend Engineering teams.
* Defining requirements for our data collection infrastructure and collaborating with Engineering and Data Engineering to ensure seamless implementation.
* Supporting the evolution of our analytics stack and contributing to the development of our self-service data platform.
* Recruiting, managing, and upskilling a high-performing analytics team, initially taking on a hybrid role as both individual contributor and team leader.
* Promoting a product-led mindset and advocating for the critical role of analytics in enabling our sportsbook as a product-centric organization.
* Driving adoption of analytics and reporting as part of the Definition of Done for product features.
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
* A strong domain understanding of B2C sports betting, including nuances of sportsbook user experience, betting mechanics, and industry-specific data flows.
* A proven track record in leading and developing analytics teams, including mentoring analysts, defining team objectives, and fostering high-performing, collaborative cultures.
* Deep expertise in digital data collection and modeling, including the ability to design and evaluate tracking strategies aligned to product and business needs.
* Technical proficiency in tools and languages such as SQL, DBT, Redshift, S3, and Python for data analysis, as well as familiarity with data visualization and reporting platforms like Power BI or Amazon QuickSight.
* Hands-on experience with event data pipelines, particularly with technologies like Snowplow, to capture and process granular user interactions.
* Experience implementing or working with A/B testing frameworks like GrowthBook, with a sound understanding of experimental design, statistical significance, and interpretation of results.
