What you'll be doing
To provide a high standard of customer service to all NSLHD Oral Health patients, visitors, and employees in a manner consistent with the NSLHD CORE Values and Behaviour Charter. The position operates under limited direction and guidance and is responsible for managing oral health patient bookings within management-defined constraints and in accordance with the Ministry of Health Priority Oral Health Program (POHP).
The role serves as the first point of contact for Oral Health services and may involve managing complex inquiries requiring the exercise of judgement in selecting and applying established principles, techniques and methods to ensure the optimal flow of patients in the delivery of dental services.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
* Demonstrated knowledge and skills in delivering a customer focused service with excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and community stakeholders.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a challenging and high-pressure environment, manage competing demands, and resolve issues while exercising judgment and initiative.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment. with capacity to take direction and adapt to changing priorities.
* Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and accurate data entry skills with proven experience in accurately recording, collating and distributing information.
* Demonstrated advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data information systems e.g. Titanium Unity, contact centre software.
* Strong time management skills and ability to set priorities, monitor workflow and maintain high levels of effectiveness in area of responsibility when working independently or as part of a team.
