Job Description Project ManagementDefines and agrees scope, objectives, activities, milestones, and timelines to successfully deliver complex project outcomes.Adopts and adapts project management methods and tools to the needs of the project and organization.Monitors and controls schedule, resources, and budgets.Ensures risks and issues are identified and appropriately documented & mitigated.Ensures that the size and nature of organizational impact are understood, and plans/support are in place for successful change management.Focuses on details, e.g., preparing business team run sheets / implementation plans and tracking each item's status for successful completion.Stakeholder Relationship ManagementEnsures stakeholders are identified, their needs understood, and plans are in place to maintain support.Acts as a central point of contact for stakeholders, building strong, trusted relationships.Prepares Steering Committee papers, engages with executive-level stakeholders to articulate project status & manage expectations.Identifies, understands, and documents risks, with effective monitoring and mitigation.Engages specialists / domain experts as necessary.Resource and Performance ManagementIdentifies resource requirements and engages with resource owners to secure needed resources.Updates resource forecasts regularly.Supports skill development aligned with personal and team goals.Schedule Planning and ManagementAddresses conflicting priorities within the team and escalates issues as needed.Ensures plans are current and reflected accurately in the tooling.Scope ControlDefines and agrees on project scope and outcomes.Manages scope changes as necessary.
