Senior Concretor (Local to Karratha Only)

We are seeking a local-only Senior Concretor to join our Karratha-based team. This role is ideal for someone with deep trade experience, a steady leadership style, and a commitment to producing precise, durable, high‐standard concrete work.
In this senior position, you'll guide a small crew, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure all concrete works—from preparation to finishing—are executed safely, accurately, and consistently. You won't be pushed into reactive or high-pressure environments; instead, you'll lead with calm direction, clear planning, and a methodical approach that supports your team and delivers reliable results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a small concreting crew across civil, commercial, and residential projects
Perform and oversee all aspects of concreting, including:
* Formwork, steel fixing, and set‐out
* Concrete placement, screeding, and finishing
* Slabs, footings, paths, driveways, and repairs
* Read and interpret drawings, levels, and project documentation
* Plan daily work sequences and ensure efficient site workflows
* Troubleshoot methodically and maintain a safe, organised work area
* Communicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and team members
* Ensure all work meets Trasan's quality, safety, and compliance standards
Skills and ExperienceRequired:
Minimum 4–6 years concreting experience (with some leadership or mentoring exposure)
Demonstrated experience across formwork, steel fixing, placement, and finishing
WA Driver's Licence
Construction White Card
Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening
Strong communication skills — especially listening, clarifying, and giving calm direction
A steady, precise, and safety‐focused approach to work
Skid steer and mini excavator experience
Desirable but Not Essential:
Concrete or civil-related tickets (EWP, Forklift, HRW, etc.)
Light Truck Licence
MSIC / ASIC / Police Clearance
Experience in remote or regional environments
Comfortable using tablets and digital documentation tools
