About You:
* Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience with emphasis on food and service
* Valid NSW RSA licence
* Strong staff management and supervisory skills
* A great understanding of customer service and its importance in guest experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Competency with stock management and stock take procedures
* Knowledge of I-Control stock system would be advantageous
Position Overview
The Duty Manager will assist in overseeing all aspects of venue operations while maintaining a high standard of customer service and team leadership. This role requires a confident and organised individual capable of managing a fast‑paced environment and leading a team of approximately 30 staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and support staff across bar, floor, and restaurant operations
* Maintain strong service standards and ensure an excellent customer experience
* Oversee venue presentation, safety, and compliance requirements
* Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance development
* Support rostering, stock control, and operational decision making
* Coordinate with Venue Manager on events, promotions, and day‑to‑day venue needs
