We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team of professionals. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of elderly clients living in their own homes.
Your key responsibilities will include supporting clients with daily activities such as showering, dressing, and toileting. You will also assist clients with their medication routines, ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens. Additionally, you will help with household tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
You will provide companionship, assist with social outings, and support clients in engaging with their communities. Contribute to the development and review of individualized care plans, ensuring they meet clients' needs and preferences.
Requirements
* A current driver's license and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes.
* The ability to use a smart phone and basic apps.
* Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
* Assist clients with medication Certificate - HLTHPS006.
