About the role
Dowling McCarthy Tyres is seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join our team in Mornington, Tasmania. As a Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on a variety of vehicles. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
What you'll be doing
1. Inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres on cars, trucks, and other vehicles
2. Balancing and aligning tyres to ensure optimal performance and safety
3. Maintaining a clean and organised work area
4. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
5. Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient operations
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter / Wheel Aligner or in a similar automotive role
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
3. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
4. A valid driver's licence and a reliable form of transportation
5. Familiarity with tyre maintenance equipment and tools
