This is your chance to pioneer and lead the delivery of Youth Services across the Northern Territory. With a strong focus on community development and partnerships, this role will see you at the forefront of creating impactful change for young people in urban and regional communities.
About the role
We are seeking a Youth Services Manager to join our National Leadership team in Youth Services located in Darwin. You'll be leading a diverse team, building collaborative partnerships, and contributing to national youth practice frameworks - all while driving local solutions tailored to community needs. Travel within the Territory and occasional interstate travel will be required, along with some after-hours work.
What you'll be doing
* Lead the delivery of youth services across the NT with a focus on community-led development
* Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with local communities and key stakeholders
* Contribute to the review, consolidation, and growth of youth services in the region
* Drive implementation of national practice frameworks at the local level
* Champion the mission and values of TSA through involvement in local leadership teams
* Ensure services are resourced, funded, and aligned with The Salvation Army's Youth Model of Care
* Build, mentor and empower a professional team with a positive, purpose-driven culture
* Provide day-to-day operational leadership and quality assurance across all youth programs
You will have
* Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field and at relevant experience, including senior management experience
* High level understanding of contemporary youth work practices
* Experience in active membership in community or government bodies within the sector
* Relevant state Working with Children Check is required
* Current Drivers Licence
