The cook is to provide safe food handling, menu management and preparation of meals for enrolled children and to standards that exceed the national quality framework rating. What this role looks like :
* Oversee distribution of meals to individual children.
* Develop and evaluate menus to ensure children receive nutritious meals.
* Provide meals according to the needs of enrolled children with industry standards.
* Maintain safe food handling practices. Other duties specified by the supervisor/manager.
* Raise purchase orders and receive goods.
What are we seeking in our new team member:
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cooker) or Combined Nutrition and Safe Food Handling
* Holds First Aid, CPR, WWC and Drivers Licence (Class C) – NSW
* Holds Child Protection training certificate (CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025)
