Protech are looking for experienced Pipefitters to perform work with our client on a 20:8 roster near Karratha.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Penalty pay rates
* Permanent directly with the project contractor with long-term project opportunities available
* Flexible start dates on offer
* Point of Hire is Perth or Karratha only
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Fabrication and installation of various sizes of pipework consisting of a range of exotic materials and associated piping components
* Cut, level and fit up pipes in accordance with isometric drawings
* Assemble pipe spools including all valves and associated instruments
* Work with other disciplines including riggers to position and erect pipes of various sizes
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Construction White/Blue Card
* Current Driver's License
* Relevant Trade Certificate and current High Risk Work License (EWP)
* Working at Height, Confined Space and Gas test Atmospheres (must be current within the last 2 years)
* Previous experience working FIFO/Mining/Construction/Projects would be an advantage
* Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
* Full Working Rights in Australia
* Experience working with Carbon Steel pipe with Inconel Theta cladding
* Experience working with compressor hook‑up piping
* Experience working on the installation of risers and flowline
