Overview
The Goulburn Area Student Support Services (SSS) works out of two offices – Shepparton and Seymour – and offers a fixed‐term position lasting until February 2027. The role may involve travel between the offices as part of routine duties.
Responsibilities
As a Social Worker in the SSS team you will:
* Provide specialised support to students, their families and schools to remove barriers to learning and wellbeing.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers and other allied health professionals throughout the Goulburn region.
* Deliver individual and group casework, share expertise with peer supervisors and contribute to whole‐program engagement.
* Facilitate collaboration between schools and the wider community to promote student achievement, engagement and wellbeing.
* Travel between the Shepparton and Seymour offices as required.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include:
* Graduate or post‐graduate qualification in Social Work.
* Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Current Australian drivers' licence.
* Working with Children Check.
