Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and organized Marine Logistics Officer to join our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for facilitating the movement of steel products by sea, working with service providers, internal customers and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate the movement, scheduling, loading and discharging of steel products by sea
* Maintain schedules and utilize internal and external information systems to coordinate product movement
* Ensure customer requirements are being met through engagement with marine service providers
* Support a dynamic marine logistics team responsible for freight solutions to facilitate delivery of product to customers domestically and overseas
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have:
* A proactive approach to building constructive and effective relationships
* The ability to monitor and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Computer competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) with the ability to learn new systems
