Six Degrees Executive is thrilled to be the exclusive recruitment partner of a globally admired retail brand, as they seek a Head of Planning & Allocations for APAC to join their Brisbane-based team.
The Head of Planning & Allocations will be a key member of the APAC Senior Leadership Team, holding overall responsibility for the effective management of product planning and allocation functions for the region.
This role will help drive the business's strategic growth plan, aimed at driving sales and increasing market share, and will lead key product areas including intake planning and pricing to ensure effective product flow, liquidation, and life cycles to deliver key targets.
By shaping strategy, optimising inventory initiatives, and leading a high-performing, collaborative team, success in this role will be measured by delivering sales, margin and market share goals.

What You’ll Do
Drive Business Performance & Strategy
– own planning, allocations, and pricing strategy to maximise revenue and profitability
Partner for Success
– collaborate with local Finance, Buying, and Supply Chain teams, as well as global teams, to optimise inventory and product lifecycles
Strategic Planning & Analysis
– provide strategic reporting, analysis and product allocation services that contribute to the achievement of the division's annual sales, while also playing a leading role in the planning of product and buying range reviews
Lead a Winning Team
– coach and develop a best-in-class Planning & Allocations team, always championing the company's values, and maintaining the high integrity culture
Own Vendor Relationships
– maintain and strengthen vendor relationships with a diverse range of brands
Shape the Future
– forecast trends, implement innovative markdown strategies
What We’re Looking For
A successful career built in planning, buying or merchandise strategy
Proven leadership experience within retail (sports, footwear, apparel, etc)
Strong analytical, strategic and commercial acumen
Expertise in OTB, pricing and planning systems
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Change management experience, and an ability to streamline and improve processes and/or systems big or small
