Job Summary
This permanent part-time opportunity is for a sterilising technician to join our team in the sterilising department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, assembling, inspecting, wrapping and sterilising surgical instruments and medical equipment. They will also work efficiently with their team to manage pressing deadlines and provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for clinical departments and external customers.
* Work collaboratively with the Operating Theatre staff to ensure timely delivery of sterile products, trays and equipment.
* Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock and supplies.
Requirements
* Certificate III qualification in Sterilising Services (Desirable).
* Previous experience as a sterilising technician.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
